This is me; in slimmer version. :p |
Assalamualaikum & hey guys!
For a start, let me introduce myself (:
My name is Noor Azdayanti Ahmad and people usually call me 'Yanti'. Yeah I know, I know. I know what do you guys have in mind right now. That sounds like an Indonesian maid, right? Trust me, I get that all the time. Haha.! Well, actually there is a story behind it. My mother really loved to watch Indonesian dramas while she was pregnant with me. Like, you know, a TRUE fan. So just to show how big her love was towards all the dramas, she gave me that name as soon as I was born. Pretty funny, huh? Hehe:p
OK people, let's get serious. I am the second child in the family of 6 members and we all live together in Ipoh, Perak. Alhamdulillah, after the SPM examination, I got the opportunity to further my study in A-Level at International Education Centre (INTEC) in Shah Alam, Selangor. I was doing A-Level Medicine for 2 years there. I have to admit that Medicine is one tough course that I actually struggled in my study during those two years. Even though I managed to complete the course, unfortunately I didn't make it to study abroad. I soon realised and accepted the fate that Medicine was not meant for me. That was the moment when I decided to pursue my study in Engineering course, but please know that it is definitely not because I think the course is easier or anything like that. It is just the fact that I love Physics so much make me believe that I should get involve in something I like to do, because at the end of the day, passion is the one that will help me to get through all the difficulties by working harder for it.
Now, here I am in UniKL MICET, taking my degree in Chemical Engineering Technology in Process. Some of my friends asked me why did I choose to be here? Well, here are some of the many reasons that I listed out to them. UniKL MICET is one of the well-known technical universities in Malaysia and in fact, this campus is the oldest one among those universities. It is not surprising that this campus is fully-equipped with tools and equipments, provided in high-standard laboratories. What I love the most is that we have one of the largest, latest and most sophisticated power plants in Malaysia and this is approved by both local and foreign experts and technologists.
Looking back at my very first day here, I had set a goal, which is to gain as much knowledge as I can and achieve the best results, and hopefully this place will change me into a better person...
