MH 370 : The flight that went missing
On March 8th 2014, Malaysians were surprised by the news of a plane that was scheduled to arrive in Beijing from Kuala Lumpur...but it never did. Hours later, the news became global. The flight that carried a total of 239 passengers of various nationalities; 12 crew members and 227 passengers was still not found until today. It created a national stir and distress.
A search and rescue mission was launched to help find the missing plane. Big guns such as America, Australia and South Korea joined in the SAR mission. A lot of speculations were raised during the search and rescue of this plane. First, it was suspected that the plane was hijacked. An uneasy rumor was made against the pilot who was said to be behind the drama. And now the most recent news was that Australia found a 20m long remain of what is suspected to be a part of the MH 370 body parts. Now, the story changes from being hijacked to a mid-air burn and crash. There are alot of possibilities of what could happen to the plane. One can only make an assumption.
The answers to the questions are yet to be answered, the SAR may still have a long way to go. The families of the crew and passengers can only pray and hope for a miracle. The world is also praying for them to come back. At times like this, it is important that we stay unite, say only nice things and hope for the best. It will be a day to remember if we get to see the crew and passengers home safe and sound in the embrace of their loved ones. We will get teary eyed for sure.
